Mt. Zion Tabernacle Christian Church's First Lady

Tameka L. Murray was born in Newark, New Jersey to Mother Sallie Carter of Pine Bloom Missionary Baptist Church in Quincy, Florida, and Clarence Carter who has gone on to be with the Lord.

 

She is the 6th of 7 children: Darrell Bradwell, Calvin Carter, Moncio Carter, Patrick Williams, Felicia Carter, and Trenise Carter. First Lady Murray shares 3 children with Pastor Murray: Tiyahna, Tyonn, and Tyree.

She is a graduate of Columbia College and holds Bachelor degrees in Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Business Administration.

 

First Lady Tameka Murray, is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. She is a former member of the Florida Gang Investigation Association and Orlando Metropolitan Urban League Law Enforcement Task Force. As a former Correctional Officer, she holds a Certification as a Field Training Officer. Additionally, she holds certificates of completions in the areas of; Savvy Supervision, Hotel Management, and Controlled Force Instruction.

Currently First Lady Murray is employed as the Security Director of the Rosen Hotels Industry. She strongly encourages her children and all youth that she mentors to complete school and gain a college degree.

First Lady Tameka Murray enjoys having fun with her children and the youth of the church.
